POST DOETSCH EVENT RUN:
Following the Doetsch Offroad all breeds event, we will be hosting a run for all through Bulldog Canyon
Meet up time: 4:00 PM (Air Down / Driver Meeting and on trail by 4:30PM)
We will be chasing the sun, should get some great sunset views and a little dusk driving for fun!
Trail Time (ESTIMATED): 3-4 hours depending on number of rigs.

We will be running the Bulldog Canyon OHV trail from the Usery Pass Gate through to Lost Dutchman (with the option to exit at Apache Junction if you are short on time). This route will take our group on FR3554 from Usery and we will pick up FR10 at the end of the wash to Apache Junction and those who continue will make the turn to FR1356 and continue to the Lost Dutchman Gate on SR88.
The first part of this trail is very tame, then it becomes rocky and bumpy for the second part of the trail. And the third part of the trail from Apache Junction to Lost Dutchman has a bunch of great variation.
For this trail you WILL need to have the new Tonto permit. Purchase online here: Tonto National Forest Recreational Permit. Please do not try to hop on the run without a permit as they do check from time to time. (Once you purchase it, you can put it in your Apple Wallet)
Any rig on 33” or larger tires can run this trail without any major issues. If you are on smaller tires, expect to scrape in a couple of places. (As with any trail run, there is a risk of Arizona pinstripes and there are spots on this trail where you may rub.)

GMRS Radio (Please test it and learn to use it beforehand!)
Plenty of water (Bring twice what you think you may need)
Food / Snack
First Aid Kit
Your normal “off-road” setup if you have it
This is a DRY RUN…. Please no Alcohol or Drugs on the trail.
Your trail leaders will have most everything we could possibly need on this run so don’t think you need to go buy a bunch of gear just to come out.
